AMSEP Taiwan

DAY 1️⃣
The AMSEP India-Taiwan exchange began with the delegates and the teams full of zeal and enthusiasm. After having the welcoming words from the DoAMSEPs, the day was started with the community service presentation explanation and the E- letter where delegates were paired as Andy and woody from the toy story. It was followed by the icebreaking games sessions first by Taiwan and then India. The delegates were divided into the breakout rooms and a few fun games were played.

Day 2️⃣ 2.6.2021 – Academics: India,
Session1: COVID management in India (16:35-18:05 IST)
Dr. Jayaraj B S was invited as guest speaker and the session was moderated in a Q&A format. It gave insight into the Covid scenario, helping delegates understand India’s global situation. It ranged from government guidelines to new solutions like vaccines, herd immunity and new drugs.

Session2: Primary Healthcare in India (18.10-19.15 IST)
Spoken upon by Dr. Animesh Jain. It introduced the PHC structure to Taiwanese delegates while explaining various aspects of accessibility, affordability and quality of healthcare in India.

Lastly, the sessions were concluded and followed by a Kahoot Quiz based on the previous 2 sessions and some trivia about Sex Workers.

Day 3️⃣ 3.6.2021 Socioculturals- Taiwan
It was a day which felt more real than any other part of the exchange! In the beginning we were taking a stroll in the city, visiting temples, enjoying delicasies, enjoying wasn’t it, we were regularly being quizzed about it too!

It was then followed by language session which left us in tongue twisters which made way as perfectly pronounced Chinese.Day came to an end but the zeal didn’t so we did stay a little longer till the after party and called it a day.

Day 4️⃣: 4.6.2021 Academics- Taiwan
The day started with a DIY-Session on “Build your own clinic” which turned out to be very interactive. The delegates learnt about aesthetics in medicine and how to cater to the needs of a patient aptly.
It was followed by an introduction to Taiwanese Healthcare which familiarized the delegates to it.

The “Chinese Medicine” session taught the delegates about the history and importance of this ancient type of medicine and how it still remains applicable in these modern times.

Day 5️⃣ 5.6.2021 Socioculturals- India 
The socio-cultural day of India was indeed one of the most awaited days.We started with a welcome to all delegates to the day followed by a virtual tour of India which left everyone mesmerised.

Fashion show was next which was spectacular and then led to the language exchange which taught all our delegates three spoken languages in India,Hindi, Gujarati and Bangali.
We then had a brief discussion about the flavours of India and a cooking session by Manan for Khaman Dhokla and by Shashwat for Pani-Puri.

The last was a heartfulness workshop in collaboration with Heartfulness Institute  and Rotaract club of IGGMC, Nagpur  on Stress management which proved to be great gateway of all the stress and the day ended with freshness.

Day 5️⃣ 5.6.2021 Socioculturals- India 
The socio-cultural day of India was indeed one of the most awaited days.We started with a welcome to all delegates to the day followed by a virtual tour of India which left everyone mesmerised.

Fashion show was next which was spectacular and then led to the language exchange which taught all our delegates three spoken languages in India,Hindi, Gujarati and Bangali.

FAMSEP India x Nigeria

Day 1️⃣: 09.01.2021
We kicked off our first ever Virtual exchange with Nigeria with a fun ice breaking session where delegates and committee member alike introduced themselves and described the mood board specifically designed for this exchange! Followed by which an induction for the community service project -Diabetes which was a social media awareness campaign – introduced and the delegates together went on a team effort to play some games which tested their knowledge on the Nigerian as well as the Indian culture!

Day 2️⃣: 10.01.2021
FAMSA Nigeria started the academic sessions with an invigorating introduction to the Nigerian Healthcare system, followed by which a seminar on hepatitis free future was taken by Dr. Joga, Department of Internal Medicine. A Q/A session took place after each part of the day.

Day 3️⃣: 16.01.2021
FAMSA Nigeria went on to captivate us with their vivacious and vibrant virtual tour which included the local delicacies, interesting facts and places to visit. 💥

Day 4️⃣: 17.01.2021
AMSEP India took the next academic session on Medical Education in India with the help of our delegates. After this, a clinical communications workshop was organised for the delegates of both of the countries by Glocal Academy.

Day 5️⃣: 23.01.2021
AMSEP India via delegates presented all aspects of the rich and vibrant culture and heritage of India. From knowledge about Indian literature to the mouth watering food and compilation videos on the different cultural dresses/festivals/regions in India made by our own Indian delegates left everyone in awe.

Day 6️⃣: 26.07.2020
With a heavy heart all delegates gathered virtually for the farewell party. A small Bhangra lesson got everyone grooving to India’s beats!🔥
With some interesting drawing games the delegates’ were made to feel at ease.
The sharing of different memories during the exchange was the last activity.
We hope all the delegates have made memories which they will cherish forever ✨
